Rubber Cement Profile

Rubber Cement
30" x 24"
Oil on canvas

Finally a new piece! Same old rubber cement bottle, new applicator lid. This is one of many new pieces I will be including in a big show late next year. I say big, because I have agreed to have a minimum of 25 pieces. The exhibit will feature work by me and one other artist...I'm pretty excited about this show. I will also have work in another show early next year in Jan. It's a group show, so probably only 2-3 pieces. More info to come on both shows.

Good luck with the show Todd. If 25 is BIG I'll rethink putting in 20 for a show here.
Lovely works. Haven't visited in a while though. Good to see you're still at easel.

All the best
April

Thanks April. Well, 25 is a big number to me considering that when I agreed to do the show, I didn't have any finished pieces! BTW, your new blog looks really good.

I love this, Todd! Up close and personal, just the way art should be.

Love the zoomed-in perspective, and the detail rocks. Excellent painting. Great gobs of luck in your preparation for the show. Paint, paint, paint.

I think that's the way it works though, isn't it Todd? but living on that edge of uncertainty and necessity is a good thing. Kinda MAKES you paint your soul and best out. Oh and Thanks for looking in on my new blog!

You have the most sparkly vision of the most mundane objects, LOVE THAT!!! Visiting your blog is always a pleasure for that reason.
