Todd, Another nice painting. Nice job on the cast shadow...you really captured the subtle colors that exist there. I also like the drops...they add additional excitement. I'm curious to know what brand of oil paint you use? I use Gamblin and Windsor & Newton but I'm thinking about trying Charvin Extra Fine Oil Colors that Jerry's Artarama just started carrying. Have you heard anything about this brand? Just curious!
Hi Jean, thanks. Glad you like this piece. I'm a creature of habit when it comes to brands. I started off using Windsor Newton and have always relied on them. I have tried other brands, but the vast majority of tubes I own are WN. I've never tried Charvin before, so I can't be of any help with that one. It wouldn't hurt to try them out if you're curious though!
