Hi Todd,
This painting is a show stopper! The difference in color in the background between the left and right side creates tension which is united in the focal point - the glass. I so admire the way you have achieved the translucence of the glass - I could go on, but I am sure you already know how superior this painting is. Bravo!

I like the stillness of your water drops against a beam of light. Your paintings are always deceptively simple, but there are many elements in play, and they're beautifully balanced. Terrific piece.
